Where it began: Χριστός-ኣውያን Devs began with a simple conviction: Christians in technology should not have to separate their faith from the work of their hands.

The idea was born out of a desire to create a community where Christian developers could learn together, build together, challenge one another, and pursue excellence without compromising their convictions.

The vision The vision is bigger than simply creating another developers' community. Χριστός-ኣውያን Devs is intended to become a place where believers in technology can discover that their technical gifts are also part of their calling.

We envision Christian developers helping one another grow in software engineering, design, problem solving, leadership, entrepreneurship, creativity, and most importantly, character.

The goal is to build people who are excellent at what they do and faithful in why they do it.

What we want to build Χριστός-ኣውያን Devs will eventually bring together developers, designers, students, engineers, founders, and other technology enthusiasts who share the same desire to use their gifts for Kingdom impact.

The community is being shaped around ideas such as:

• Christian hackathons and build challenges
• Developer meetups and technical events
• Mentorship and peer-to-peer learning
• Collaborative software projects
• Discussions around faith, technology, and culture
• Encouragement toward excellence and integrity

Where it is now For now, Χριστός-ኣውያን Devs is still in its early stage. The vision, identity, structure, and direction are being developed carefully before opening the community to the public.

It is still small, but the ambition is not. The foundation is being laid for something that can eventually bring Christian technologists together across churches, schools, cities, and eventually countries.

What comes next The next chapter is making Χριστός-ኣውያን Devs public.

Soon, the doors will open for developers and technology-minded believers who want to be part of the journey. The goal is not simply to launch a platform, but to cultivate a genuine community — one where people can meet, build, teach, learn, pray, collaborate, and grow together.

What exists today is only the beginning.
